writingsite.com Book Store

WELCOME to our writingsite.com Book Store. Here you’ll find books by many writers we know (we admit to practicing a bit of nepotism), and by many writers we simply admire. In all cases, the writers/editors are gifted professionals, whose ability and dedication to their craft is obvious.

Our Book Store includes fiction, non-fiction, reference, poetry, even a grammar book. We think there should be something here for many tastes, and hope you'll find something on this page you otherwise might not have discovered.

We’re handling many of the books on this page in association with Powells.com. Powell's opened its first book store in 1970 and has been a successful on-line book seller since 1994. We appreciate the fact that Powell's sells books and only books. For up-to-date reference books and certain hard-to-find or special edition books, links will take you to Amazon.com, where we've found buying books a customer-friendly process.

To find out more about each book, click on the title. This will take you directly to its listing on the Powell or Amazon site where you can read a brief synopsis and reviews.
