By opening our monthly fiction feature to open submission, we hope to increase your publishing options and introduce our readers to writing that would otherwise go unacknowledged. We will post short stories and novel chapters up to 5000 words in length. Submissions must be in English, must be submitted in Word (.doc) format, and only via the submit field on this page. We can not handle email attachments or USPS submissions. Because your submissions deserve a thoughtful reading and because our reading time is limited, we will close down the submission field whenever we reach the maximum number of submissions we can handle. If the submission field is closed, please give us a few days to catch up and then try again. There is no charge for reading and no payment to featured authors.
